This list was created before I had a kid and when I could still go out to eat all the time whenever we wanted to because Hooray For Being 30 & Having No Kid! In that sense, it is more of a Wish List than ever before. I don’t think I’ve been to NYC since 2010…
Nobu – NYC
Le Bernardin – NYC
Les Halles – NYC
Per Se – NYC
French Laundry – Yountville, Napa County

Add Patrick Guilbaud’s in Dublin, Ireland and The Connaught in London just for fun. In Chicago, go to Topolobampo once before you die. Down here you need to go to Goode Company Barbecue, the Chappelle Hill Sausage House, Hubbell and Hudson Bistro, Da Marco’s, Irma’s, and Feast. We’ll top it off to Spec’s for free booze and wine. My favorite restaurants include Sahara in Michigan City, Indiana, The Blue Nile in Ann Arbor, Maria’s in Santa Fe, American Flat Bread’s La Reau Farm in the middle of nowhere Vermont, and the Acme Oyster House in NOLA.
FYI: there is a Fogo de Chao in downtown Kansas City, MO… They closed George Brett’s =(
